    {find_x} {expanding}
There were two blondes going to California for the summer, they are about two hours into the flight and the pilot gets on the intercom and says we just lost an engine but it is all right we have three more but it will take us an hour longer.
A half hour later he gets on the intercom again and says we just lost another engine but its all right we have two more it will take us another half hour though.
One of the blondes says, "If we lose the two last engines we will be up here all day"

    The golden ratio...
    .
Why do many people feel that Jessica Simpson is beautiful?
    {http://www.intmath.com/Numbers/beautyMath/mask1.gif} mask
This mask of the human face is based on the Golden Ratio. The proportions of the length of the nose, the position of the eyes and the length of the chin, all conform to some aspect of the Golden Ratio.
    {http://www.intmath.com/Numbers/beautyMath/jessica_mask2.jpg} jessica masked
When placed over the photo of Jessica Simpson, we see there is a good fit (that is, the proportions of her face fit the geometrically "nice" proportions of the mask, based on the Golden Ratio).
    Her beauty is mathematical!

The Parthenon in Greece. The ratio of the distances indicated is the Golden Ratio.
In mathematics and the arts, two quantities are in the golden ratio if the ratio between the sum of those quantities and the larger one is the same as the ratio between the larger one and the smaller. The golden ratio is an irrational mathematical constant, approximately 1.6180339887.[1[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_ratio#cite_note-quadform-0|]]]
At least since the Renaissance, many artists and architects have proportioned their works to approximate the golden ratio—especially in the form of the golden rectangle, in which the ratio of the longer side to the shorter is the golden ratio—believing this proportion to be aesthetically pleasing. Mathematicians have studied the golden ratio because of its unique and interesting properties.
The golden ratio is often denoted by the Greek letter Φ (phi). The figure of a golden section illustrates the geometric relationship that defines this constant. Expressed algebraically:
    {http://upload.wikimedia.org/math/f/5/d/f5d50ca811d3393b850f32c2b65be069.png} frac{a+b}{a} = frac{a}{b} = varphi,.
This equation has as its unique positive solution the algebraic irrational number
    {http://upload.wikimedia.org/math/3/0/f/30ff36a6f91b36b0941d4ab16a627fee.png} varphi = frac{1+sqrt{5}}{2}approx 1.61803,39887ldots,
Other names frequently used for or closely related to the golden ratio are golden section (Latin: sectio aurea), golden mean, golden number, and the Greek letter phi (Other terms encountered include extreme and mean ratio, medial section, divine proportion, divine section (Latin: sectio divina), golden proportion, golden cut,and mean of Phidias.8Source: [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_ratio#cite_note-7|wikipedia]]
    0.(9) equals 1???
One reason that infinite decimals are a necessary extension of finite decimals is to represent fractions. Using long division, a simple division of integers like 1⁄3 becomes a recurring decimal, 0.333…, in which the digits repeat without end. This decimal yields a quick proof for 0.999… = 1. Multiplication of 3 times 3 produces 9 in each digit, so 3 × 0.333… equals 0.999…. And 3 × 1⁄3 equals 1, so 0.999… = 1.[1[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/0.999...#cite_note-CME-0|]]]
Another form of this proof multiplies 1/9 = 0.111… by 9.

THE TRIBAL WARS GUIDE FOR DUMMIES THAT INCLUDES YOU!!!
WARNING MUST READ!!!: DISCLAIMER TRIBAL WARS CAN BE HIGHLY ADDICTIVE AND SHOULD BE PLAYED AT HOME; NOT AT SCHOOL(Tribal wars doesn't takes as much time and there is strategy behind the game)
    What is tribal wars?:
Tribal wars is a browser game set in the middle ages. Every player controls a small village, striving for power and glory. Depending on which world you chose you start with between 60-110 points.
If you want to get started in playing Tribal Wars you're going to want to click the,
"Register now for free!" button. Then enter a username, password, email, and tick the box to accept the terms of use. You can also chose a different world at the top, but it doesn't matter which you chose.

    Different
    Villages:
    Offensive Village
You need Axes, Light Calvary and Rams, with Catapults and Mounted Archers as more of an option. Scouts are necessary to view other village makeup. Remember that Scouts kill Scouts (nothing else) so you will need at least one village with 2,000 or more. This is probably something that should be done with a Defensive Village.
Every player has a different idea of what the mix should be, but a lot of Axes is a good starting point. Rams have one purpose and that is to reduce Wall levels so your overall attack(s) are more effective. You will need to rebuild those walls if you noble the village, so it is a trade-off with respect to troop losses and time/resources to rebuild those walls.
    Defensive Village
This can be made up a mixture of Spears, Swords, Heavy Calvary and Archers. Swords are slow but strong. Heavy Calvary are strong and quick but very expensive in both space and resources. Support distance will help you decide the mix. Your Paladin (only one per player) should be positioned in a Defensive Village. When you support a village with the Paladin as leader, that group moves at Light Calvary speed so you could make that village heavier in Swords.
    Speciality Villages
If you have a protected area, that is less susceptible to attacks, having villages that are deep in Scouts will help to provide surveillance on other villages. If you find that your scouting missions result in nothing but dead Scouts, you are not deploying enough because the opponent has more Scouts in that village than you are sending.
A village with a lot of Catapults is useful for flattening buildings in other villages. It is wise to do this on a cleared village (no troops left) where you have no intention of nobling the village and want to turn that village into a future farm. So the Barracks and Stable are good targets as well as any other target that is potentially offensive.
The debate on village makeup will never end, just like the game itself. If I were designing the game, I would make the game end at some agreed upon target in that World so players could start a new game. At some point, you have to stop playing. Most of the enjoyment is in building up a network of villages. Maintaining a very large number of villages just becomes a drag.

    Troops:
    Spear fighter (defense troop)
    Swordfighter (defense troop)
    Axemen (attack troop)
    Archer (defense troop)
Scout (neither attack or defense troop; are used to see what the enemies troops and building levels are)
    Light cavalry (attack troop)
Mounted archer (defense and attack troop)
Heavy cavalry (can be used as attack and defense; these troops take up the most farm space and recources)
    Ram (used as nuke)
    Catapult (used as nuke)
Nobleman (used to noble/get other villages; is not good in attack but has an OK defense)

    Conclusion
    Example of Essay
Les Misérables is a story which tells about the life of Jean Valjean, who was a convict.
“He was a man in the prime of life, of medium height, broad-shouldered and robust, who might have been in his late forties... He was an ugly and terrifying spectacle.” (pg.3)
He was in the prime for 19 years. 19 years of life in the prison made him ugly. Even after he got out of prison, people’s cold look made him uglier. The reason why he stole a roof of bread is that his sister’s child was starving. It reveals that Valjean is actually a nice honest man, but French national didn’t forgive him. They didn’t care what made him do it. Once he became a convict, he had to carry yellow ticket of leave whole life, and the yellow ticket made his life harder.
“When I reached this place I went to an inn and they turned me out because of my yellow ticket-of-leave which I had shown at the Marie as I’m obliged to do.. Nobody wants me anywhere.”(pg.4)
One day, Jean Valjean was wandering around the village, because he had yellow ticket and had no place to stay. Bishop let Valjean to stay his home despite his maids’ disagreement. Bishop believed Valjean. However, Valjean stole his expensive silverware. Later police caught Valjean and took him to Bishop, but bishop said, “Do not forget, do not forget that you have promised me to use the money to make yourself an honest man.” (pg.11) and forgave Valjean.
“Jean Valjean, my brother, you no longer belong to what is evil but what is good. I have bought your soul to save it from black thoughts and the spirit of petition, and I give it to God.” (pg.12)
Somehow, Bishop knew that Valjean was never needed, Valjean was never forgiven, Valjean was never loved by anyone and that's why he looks ugly. Bishop believed what he did make Valjean better, and it really worked. Bishop is the first man who loved Valjean, and his generousness and affection made Valjean an honest man.
Fantine was a poor but beautiful woman with a little misery child called Cosette.
“The girl had nothing in the world except her child, the child, nothing except her mother.” (pg.20)
Fantine made a lot of effort to grow Cosette. She put Cosette to Thenardier because if she had child she couldn't find any job, but she didn't know how dreadful thing happening to Cosette. She believed Thenardier and kept sending money to Thenardier. She worked hard at M. Madeleine(Valjean)'s factory to earn money, but finally she was dismissed and she had to work as prostitute. When she was arrested by Javert for crime of prostitute, Valjean saved Fantine. He did something exactly same what bishop did to Valjean. But soon Valjean and Fantine knew each other, Fantine became tuberculosis and died. When first Valjean saw bishop, he learned how to be loved. By Fantine and Cosette, he learned how to love people and how to be generous to people.
Fauchelevant was a man who was saved by Valjean when the cart Fauchelevant was crushed under the cart. When Valjean was hunted by Javert and had no place to stay, Fauchelevant returned a favor. Fauchelevant let Valjean stay at his home (教会). Cosette could have high education.
Thenardier is an evil man. He took Cosette and abused her, and decieved Fantine who was working hard for her daughter Cosette. All he wanted was money, and for money he did anything. “By God’, he said, ‘we aren’t going to let the brat go, she’s turned into a goldmine. I can guess what has happened. Some rich joker had taken a fancy to the mother.’ (pg.35) Twice he *** Valjean to get money.
Marius is a boy who became Cosette's boyfriend. Valjean didn't like Marius because Cosette is like a daughter of his, and Valjean felt like Cosette is taken by Marius.
“Valjean had never loved anything. He had been alone in the world, never a father, a lover, husband or friend... But when he had seen Cosette... everything in him that was passionate and capable of affection had been aroused and had flowed out to the child.” (pg.74)
Cosette was very important for Valjean. However soon Valjean realized that Marius and Cosette love each other, and they should be together. When Marius got married with Cosette, Valjean told all about his life. Marius became confused and scared to him and try to separate Valjean and Cosette. But he heard that
“Ill-treatment had made her sullen and misery had made her ugly... She was known locally as L’Alouette, the Lark... a trembling little creature, scarcely more than bird, who was always first up in the house and out of doors before dawn. But this was a lark that never sang.” (pg.24)
“Certainly they appeared utterly depraved, corrupt and odious; but it is rare for those who have sunk so low not to be degraded in the process, and there comes a point, moreover, where the unfortunate and the infamous are grouped together, merged in a single, fateful world. They are les miserables – the outcasts, the underdogs. And who is to blame? Is it not the most fallen who have most fallen who have most need of charity?” (pg.119)

    What's going on?
This simple trick is a real stumper because most people assume the paper needs to stretch to make the hole bigger. You can't stretch paper so they either give up, or tear the paper and go red in the face. But a simple fold and a neat little bend makes the hole big enough for the 20 cent coin to slip through. The solution is pretty obvious once you've seen it so to get most enjoyment from this trick, use it to irritate your mates!

knocking stuff Array of of the way
What YOU carry is a ten foot length of pass-link chain. This is your leash.
Pass-link chain is the stuff where the links will fit through each other. This is important. You need this so you can hook on a safety clip. The chain is looped about the tiger's neck and acks as a giant choke-chain, but the clip is there to keep a loop of some sort in case things go badly wrong. You carry the chain looped in one hand in a peculiar fashion which permits the whole length of chain to be dragged from your hand without taking your hand and/or arm with it. You practice this beforehand till you're sure you've got it right.
